Gary Quinn

“If there’s a writer from this side of the pond capable of a career as a tunesmith on Music Row Gary Quinn is it…” Duncan Warwick - Editor of Country Music People

Fresh from winning British Country Music Awards for 'UK Song of the Year' and 'Songwriter of the Year' recently in London, Northern Irishman and Greater Manchester based Country Artist Gary Quinn is a name that is rapidly on the rise. Gary scooped the award for best UK song for the second year in a row for 'The Power of Me and You' from his crowd-funded debut album, with the tracks also strong enough for him to claim the songwriter’s prize ahead of some of the most hyped names on the UK country scene. National recognition for the album had already been received as ‘He Don’t Show Her Anymore’, was awarded ‘Song of the Year’ by the BCMAwards last year.

"Gary is just what the UK country music scene needs - someone who is passionate about modern country music, yet respectful of its traditions…" Allan Watkiss - CMA International Broadcaster & Director of UKCountryRadio.com

Gary recently performed at the prestigious Country2Country Festival in London's O2 Arena for the second successive year that was headlined by Lady Antebellum and Luke Byran as well as festivals the length and breadth of the UK. Additionally, Gary was asked to share the stage with Sugarland’s Kristian Bush and Hall of Fame Songwriter Bob DiPiero as part of the CMA Songwriter Series that visited Europe. This, coupled with recently performing alongside James House at a sold out Troubadour Cafe in London has helped propel his name in the UK and Ireland.

"A modern country sound with echoes of the past..." Country Music People Magazine – UK

A regular performer at the Belfast Nashville Songwriters Festival, Gary has shared the stage with Nashville recording artists Carlene Carter, John Brannen and Nanci Griffith as well as opening for the CMA Songwriter Series show that included Clint Black, Bill Anderson and Bob DiPeiro.

In March 2012 Gary was invited to perform at the Belfast Nashville Songwriter Showcase in Nashville and shared the stage with hugely successful songwriters Billy Montana and Pam Rose. Gary was back in Nashville in June 2012 as he was invited to sing at the prestigious CMA Global Artist Party and CMA MUSIC FEST.
